A Life Drawing Session: Studying the Nude Figure in the Language of Drawing, Sculpting and Painting.

On Thursday’s, for the last past six weeks, I have been going to a life drawing session at the DA gallery.  Let me be totally honest with you, but I haven’t done this sort of thing since my 20s.  Just for your information, now 48 years old, so that’s pretty pathetic for a person who really loves the human form.  For my first session, all I brought was a 5 mm mechanical pencil, and boy were my attempts pretty bad.  As you can see below (more…)

I have been doing artwork all my life, as far back as I can remember.  I’m not too bad at it, but I’ll let you be the judge of that.  I work in a number of mediums, but right now I’m working primarily painting and sculpture.  I used to call myself a surrealist, but I’m not sure anymore.
